Native American Culture and Festival '08
Native American Culture and Festival `08 at Fort Nathan Hale Park /Black Rock Fort located at Woodward Avenue New Haven, Connecticut will be held on Saturday June 14, 2008 from 10:00a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and June 15th from 11:00a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This is the first Native American Event being held in over 20 years at this site.
The Native American Event will feature the following: Native American History, story telling, singing, music and Indian dancing events, Birds of Prey, viewing of Indian Artifact collections and several vendors. There will be well known presenters at this event.
This event will provide an experience for all ages and a day of family enjoyment. There will be shuttle parking provided from East Shore Park to Fort Nathan Hale Park/Black Rock Fort.
Admission is $5.00 for adults and children 13 years of age and under are admitted free. Fort Nathan Hale Park/Black Rock Fort is located at Woodward Avenue New Haven, Connecticut. Directions are as follows : From New York area: Take I-95 North to Exit 50. Right onto Woodward Avenue. From Hartford area: Take I-91 South to I-95 East. Exit 50. Right onto Woodward Avenue. From New London Area: Take I-95 to New Haven. Take Exit 51. Go left onto Woodward Avenue.

Parking will be available at East Shore Park on
Woodward Avenue. As you travel towards Fort Nathan Hale, please
watch for Event Parking Signs at the right. A shuttle bus will
be provided for transportation to and from the event.
