Projects at Fort Nathan Hale in 2007

Troop 401 - Opening Day 2004

Through many seasons, Fort Nathan Hale and the citizens of Greater New Haven have benefited from the dedication and commitment of the members and leaders of Boy Scout Troop 401 in support of restoration and maintenance projects and activities in the community.

Two important Eagle Scout Projects in 2007 involve restoration and maintenance of the Park Pavilion, replacement of benches and repair of a cannon mount.

Gordon LaChance of East Haven proposed and lead an Eagle Scout Project to repair the Pavilion.

Aaron Burr of East Haven has proposed and will lead a project to repair or replace wooden benches and repair a cannon mount.

Scenes below show work being accomplished on Saturday, May 12, 2007. Please return to see work on benches and the cannon mount.

A requirement of these Eagle Scout projects is that Gordon and Aaron plan and manage operations and not do actual construction work.
